I was raised in classic international network advertising agencies in Germany and Austria working for national and international brands. This is where I learned the business of brand architecture from scratch.
Almost half of my 22- year work experience was spent at Germany’s leading healthcare advertising agency, where I applied my FMCG experience to the specifics of pharma marketing.

Awarded a Master’s degree in management and finance at the University of Lausanne and a Swiss CPA certificate, I spent 15 years in accounting and consulting firms before joining Helvet Group in 2016.

Erica leads our medical copywriting team with an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience and a BA in Biology.
After working several years in laboratory and clinical research, and thereafter in medical and scientific communications, Erica joined the pharmaceutical marketing side of the business, working with clients such as Bayer, Shire, GSK, Gilead Sciences, Ipsen, Allergan, AbbVie and AZ, across therapies, including oncology, neurology, immunology, women’s health, and rare diseases – in both Global and European markets.

Holding an MSc degree in Biotechnology, I chose the excitement of the Biopharma industry. Working as a project manager for both pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry clients, I coordinated educational and promotional content creation for training – often designed to support intense product launches. International clients, tough timelines and exposure to commercialization strategies – all of this reinforced my approach to supporting clients.
As Global Account Manager, I liaise with our clients and our teams in order to deliver on expectations; for me, it’s all about flexibility and understanding when to pivot.

With over 16years of experience in communicating for the healthcare industry for European and Global markets targeting both medical and consumer audiences, I have worked in a number of therapeutic areas such as diabetes, HIV, oncology, cardiology and respiratory diseases for most major pharmaceutical companies as well as for some smaller biotech companies.
I have lived in 8 different countries and speak fluent English, French and Spanish; I hold an MSc in Cell Biology and in Science Communication.

Damien started his career in the healthcare sector, leading an IT integration team in the public hospital setting in the Rhône-Alpes of France. He quickly demonstrated his capacities in finding innovative solutions and was recruited to apply his knowledge and passion in the renewable energy industry.
Fast forward a bit more than a decade, and after having become an established entrepreneur in the digital space, Damien joined Helvet Health as Head of Digital.
Damien’s rich experience lends itself to easily identifying the role of digital – and how to communicate digitally – in order to reinforce our core messages and ideas with our core target audiences. Damien’s pedagogic approach, as well as great patience, enable him to lead a team of creative and digital professionals, from Switzerland to Boston.
I’ve built up my experience in the healthcare industry for both European and global markets. I actually started my career in Account Management roles in PR and advertising firms in France and in Australia and then cultivated my strengths in creating content across a variety of therapeutic areas including oncology, gastroenterology, cardiology, infectious diseases, medical devices, immunology, endocrinology, women’s health, and rare diseases.
Holding an MSc in Health Biology and an MSc in Scientific Communications, I speak fluent English, French, and Portuguese.

Growing up with both parents – and nearly my entire family holding a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees – it was hard to break away and create my own path after my studies. But I knew early on that I wanted to take my acquired knowledge and work in a more clinical setting. With my medical background and proven publication record in peer-reviewed medical literature, I leveraged my experience in the scientific communications field. I’ve worked in research, clinical trial design, diagnostics, editorial, commercial and marketing environments, both for leading companies and fast-growing startups. It sparks joy in me to work with the subjects I am passionate about in order to deliver accurate and compelling assets for both specialists and patients.

A client once told me, “an event organizer has one of the 5 most stressful jobs in the world preceded only by the astronaut, airline pilot, military officer, and firefighter”. I remember smiling to myself thinking she was just trying to break the ice with a bit of wit…but after 20 years of working in this sector, I can guarantee you that it is true. My experience and know-how are forged by the tourism sector, and I also gained experience in the various fields of the hospitality industry – my positions ranging from tour operator to event organizer.
Indeed, it would be impossible to create an event today – attempt to bring it to life without having had the experience and the knowledge required to master every single aspect of it. We work to anticipate and plan so that our clients know they can count on us.
